Evet, benim (ayakkabılarımın) "tüyler ürpertici" diye adlandırıldığım gün. "Tüyler ürpertici mor ayakkabılar ve mavi bisiklet". Çocuklar, ben sevdim bunu :D Tatmin edici yemekle biten o güzel sahil günlerinden biri :)

Cambridge Satchel

I really want to have one of these satchels. Even though everybody knows that I love neon colors and fluorescents are the best sellers at this brand, I decided to go with the classic green. You can have your satchel embossed with your name or initials.

BUT, there are problems with the online orders, missing address fields, unclear error messages, etc. I emailed them, and got an autoreply telling me that they are so busy and I should give them 5 business days to reply :P

I've just read the interview here with the company's founder. That's a true success story. A company (Cambridge Satchel Co.) that makes ~$20 million profıt should have a proper e-commerce site, am I expecting too much?

I am still going to try to get it, though ;)

Bu okul çantalarından almak istiyorum. Herkesin bildiği üzere fosforlu renkleri sevsem ve bu çantaların en çok satılan modelleri o renkler olsa da bu sefer klasik yeşil rengini alacağım. Ve isterseniz, çantanızın üzerine adınızı ya da baş harflerinizi kabartma yaptırabiliyorsunuz.

AMA, internetten siparişlerde sorunlar var, eksik adres kutucukları, anlaşılmayan hata mesajları, vs. Email ile sorunu sordum, otomatik mesaj geldi, "yoğunluğumuz dolayısıyla 5 iş günü içinde emailinize cevap vermeye çalışacağız" :P

Şirketin kurucusu ile olan röportajı da yeni okumuştum, burada. Gerçek bir başarı öyküsü. Yılda yaklaşık 20 milyon dolar karı olan bir şirketin (Cambridge Satchel Co.) iyi bir satış sayfası olmalı, çok mu şey bekliyorum?

Cumartesi günü "Küçük Denizkızı"nı izlemeye Glendale Tiyatrosu'na gittik. Şahaneydi! Şapkamı takıp, botlarımı giyindim :) O gün daha sonra, kumsalda ailecek bisiklet turu, hiçbirşeye değişilmez!! Gelecek yazıda ;)

Color

A little bit color into our lives ;) Red pants and purple loafers and multi-color velvet handbag and murano glass watch and blue shades and and and.. I have to tell this before I forget, today, we were all cycling at Venice Beach. I heard a voice "creepy purple shoes, and blue bike", he was gone with the wind. Venice beach in Los Angeles, they called me (well not me, my shoes, still a part of me) "creepy" :P coool!!! Later about our Saturday adventure.

What is going on with my hands? My veins are all on display. Is it the age (you need to disagree with this!), too much work, too much workout that I haven't done for months?

Biraz renk hayatlarımıza ;) Kırmızı pantolon ve mor ayakkabılar ve renkli kadife çanta ve murano saat ve mavi gözlükler ve ve ve... Unutmadan anlatmalıyım size, bugün hepbirlikte Venice Beach'te bisiklete binerken, "tüyler ürpetici mor ayakabılar ve mavi bisiklet" diyen bir erkek sesi duydum ve rüzgar gibi geçti. Los Angeles'ta Venice Beach'te bana (tamam bana değil ayakkabılarıma, sonuçta benim bir parçama) dediklerine bakın :P Çok iyi değil mi!!! Cumartesi maceramz hakkında daha sonra..

Bu arada neler oluyor ellerime? Damarlarım sergilemekte kendini. Yaş mı (bu fikre karşı çıkmalısınız!), çok iş yapmak mı, aylardır yapmadığım ağır spor mu?

I cannot resist a beautiful black woolfelt fedora, and have quite a collection myself :P This is my recent find, Kathy Jeanne, and seems like it is going to be my favorite. Next to it, Sam Edelman Petty black suede ankle boots. These days I am very much into suede footwear.

Kate Moss would wear these blacks ;) Don't you think?

Steven Slippers

Look what I have found today! So called "man repelling" Steven slip-ons that Garance wrote about last June, here. In purple, I already have leopard flats, so I chose something more edgy ;) At TJMaxx, only $50 instead of $120. And when you compare to its Stubbs &Wooton pals ($400), it is a great deal! When I was 11, I saved money for over 2 months :) to buy an artistically embroidered camel suede loafer. I wish I still had them. You'll see them often in my upcoming posts :)

Mor olanlar, leopar desenli düz ayakkabılarım olduğu için daha çılgın rengini seçtim ;) TJMaxx'te gerçek fiyatı $120 yerine $50. Stubbs&Wootton'larla ($400) karşılaştırınca çok iyi değil mi? 11 yaşında iken 2 aydan fazla üzerinde çok güzel bir işleme olan deve tüyü süet mokasenler için para biriktirmiştim. Keşke hala benim olsalardı. Gelecek yazılarımda sıkça göreceksiniz :)

This is my new friend "Mavi", blue in Turkish. Loved it at first sight. No break lever, no gear :) Soo old-fashioned! Needing a basket to carry my stuff to the office. I, too am all in blue, btw ;)
